My Approach
Inner Workshop Counseling is a caring place that aids children, adolescents, adults and families to learn to express their feelings and develop coping skills in difficult times. I work from a client centered perspective and believe that each person has everything they need within themselves to succeed. Carl Rogers, the father of Client Centered Therapy stated "The individual has within himself or herself vast resources for self-understanding, for altering his or her self-concept, attitudes and self-directed behavior - and that these resources can be tapped.

Guiding Principles
When a person feels fully heard, seen and understood healing happens. Our ability to learn, grow and adapt is innate. Play is one of the many ways that we communicate and learn, and it can help us process the events of life.
